Memorial Wall Plaques
Viewing the Memorial Wall is an impressive and poignant experience for museum visitors. Over 1000 plaques line the 100 year old limestone wall surrounding the Memorial Courtyard.
Individuals, ships, or units from all United States and Allied branches of service that served in the Pacific during WWII may be honored on the Memorial Wall. Names may be sponsored by friends, family and reunion association.
Plaques are solid metal, photochemically etched and anodized with a dark bronze background and silver text and detail. Photos and line drawings reproduce well and are featured on many plaques. Marty Kaderli of the Foundation staff will be happy to work with you to offer suggestions for the wording and layout of a proposed memorial.
Your $350.00 donation to the Admiral Nimitz Foundation will sponsor a 5"x7" plaque. The larger 20"x20" plaque may be sponsored by a donation of $2,500.00. All donations are used toward the further development of the National Museum of the Pacific War.
To Order or Receive More Information please call Marty Kaderli at The Admiral Nimitz Foundation (830) 997-8600.
If you would like a professional photo print of your plaque, please contact museum volunteer Dudley Harris for details. The price is $25 per print.
Memorial Bricks
Honor those who have served in our nation's military - and those in domestic, industrial or civilian efforts who have supported them - by sponsoring an engraved brick paver in the Veterans Walk of Honor at the National Museum of the Pacific War.
Your $100.00 donation will sponsor an engraved namepaver placed in the walkway, which winds along the Memorial Wall in the museum's beautiful Memorial Courtyard.
All those, both living and deceased, who served in the nation's military, and those who support them may be honored with an engraved brick paver. Bricks may be sponsored for any veteran of any time period - in times of war or in times of peace. This will give all who love our country the opportunity for recognition forever in a place where they are most appreciated.
There are three lines of engraving, each with fourteen spaces, available on the 4" x 8" paver. When the brick is engraved and installed you will receive a certificate letting you know in which section of the walkway it may be located.
As an option, a flat, thereby frameable, certificate may be received for an additional $5.00. Professional photos of bricks are available for $25.00 plus tax & shipping through dudleyharris@mindspring.com.
To Order or Receive More Information please call Marty Kaderli at The Admiral Nimitz Foundation (830) 997-8600 ext 204, or download our pdf order form and mail your request to the Foundation.
